A late night card

Not too exciting, just a simple birthday card, but I love these two colors together. I used not quite Navy for the first time and the ink was super juicy! I decided to stamp instead of doing my homework, now today I am paying the price and have even more stuff due :( Oh well it was worth it just to put some in on paper!

Here it is!

Ok, it's not a card, but it is Soooo much fun. Now if we could just get some sunshine over here so I can learn to ride! My sweetie is so patient in teaching me, even though I know deep down it scares him to death to see me struggling to remember the difference between the clutch and the brakes. He has been looking for a small bike for me for years and found this one on Craigslist last week. It's a 2007 and has some cosmetic damage, but i'm sure before my riding skills improve, I'll will add some damage myself.

South sound shoebox swap

We all had so much fun! It was neat to meet people that you have only seen their work on SCS or on a tiny avatar. Everyone was great and Sarah was a terrific hostess! Thanks so much for a fun evening. Here are a few pictures I took at our gathering:

My first Dahlia!

This is my first and will most likely be my last Dahlia card. I like the way it turned out, but trying to get perfect folds was a pain! I used Berry bliss paper and Pretty in pink, and Chocolat chip! I left the sentiment blank because I don't know what I want to use it for. Whoever gets is is going to be someone I like ALOT :)

Finally

I have created something new! Life has been crazy busy as always. But I managed to find some time to stamp. Here's what I came up with:

Finally After 2 weeks of the flu in my house, I finally have had some time to make something. My boys were kind enough to take turns with the flu, they are so thoughtful! My baby who is 2 was the last one to have it and was taken in to the Dr. night before last with a temp of 104.4! Thankfully they haven't shared it with me and I am very glad about that. Enough about that here is my first attempt at a gate fold card. I saw it in an old copy of CK and thought it would be fun to try. I just had to measure so it would still fit inside a standard invitation envelope.

SU! River rock and Chocolate chip. Stamps: Petal prints and Stem silhouettes

Cupcake Card

Our church just started offering a Saterday night
service, so we went to it last night. It seemed weird getting
ready for church on a Saterday night, but that means that
I got to sleep in and then spend the day stamping with my friend
Katie! We had so much fun working on our swap cards together.
Here is a card I made for a swap that I signed up
for on SCS. I cased it from a swap card I had recieved a while
ago. I think it turned out good. The stamp is Lizzieanne
designs and the paper is SU! Pretty in pink and Close
to cocoa. There is glimmer chalks on the cupcake as
well, but it doesn't show up in the picture.

Frosting shots

What are frosting shots you ask? Just precisley how it sounds.
A shot glass filled to the top with delicious frosting..Yummm...........
I would love to find out if they sell these locally. I have always asked
for the piece with the frosting flower. Now you can get it in a shot!
Who needs cake? I'm all about the frosting.

Happy almost spring!

Thanks to Punxsutawney Phil's weather prediction...he saw his shadow -
predicting six more weeks of winter! I made this card in hopes of warding
off the winter blah's.
I used SU! Certianly Celery & Pretty in pink and the
Garden whimsey set.
